I didn't want to jack Needswings thread. So after reading the manual tonight. I came up with this idea. Why not bypass the fan control box, then install an aftermarket thermostat, in parallel with a switch, on a relay coil to control the fan? Only $25 for this one.

But how do we bypass it without throwing a code? Just pull the factory harness going to the fan and shunt it with a resistor maybe?
