Mine is fine. There appears to be a ridge, may even be a drain there. Can't see in this light. Once you get it fixed I would suggest using a leaf blower to dry your car after washing. It gets the water out of all the nooks, cranny's and hidden spaces. I'd also put some wax/polish on that area.
