Well FP, I have to come clean here. Two of the cars were from Missouri.
I was trying to keep it under wraps until the Dragon but I'm too pleased with the results.
Cathy's got retuned after going back to the stock crank and a Code 3 Pulley sans the water meth kit Bike Cop had on the car. Runs and shifts as smooth as butter now. That's her Aero Blue SRT with the tune going on in the driver's seat.
Mine, well, that's a whole 'nother story. My wimpy little roadster got a dose of steroids. That's it up on the lift getting the back cats out.
New custom 3" Cai as shown in the pics above. Larger #19 injectors and removal of the back Cats. NGK plugs and a custom Dyno tune. Changed my Rev limiters for better lower gear ranges on the manual tranny, and ran HP up over 17%
All together a 38 HP gain at the crank. ( I calculated 39.7 but I'll bow to the Tech's math). Torque curve and lbs almost the same as stock.
First gear launch is amazing. By the end of second gear, street lights are a blur and by third half the county is behind you. An awesome sound out of the pipes and some real street cred where the rubber meets, hell it paints, the road. I'll be looking at new rears soon, I imagine.
No, it's not an SRT. But, if you want a good bit more punch than stock from your NA, these guys can do it for you. I had asked them to impress me. They did!
Thanks to Andy, Jake and the crew at Eurocharged. A great birthday present.
Doc Holiday, leave the wife at the hotel and put some decent tires on yours this time. I'll give you another chance at the Dragon
Roadster with a stick
The way it should be!
