The 1000 hp Viper and Veyron made it with room to spare. The cars of lesser hp all had the same problem ultimately. Their rate of acceleration above 180mph was so low that they struggled to make it within the 2 mile limit. These cars were all over 500 hp (corvette, porsche, merc, and lambo) and easily as aerodynamic as the crossfire. I dont think the SRT's 350 hp is enough to reach 200, much less the Limited's hp.
I would certainly tend to agree with this line of thinking. When they got the Veyron up over 250 they needed the longest test track in the world to do it. Maybe at this same Volkswagon track in Europe with over 30 miles of straightaway an XF could get up there, but certainly not an NA car.
