I ordered my car on Sept 27th, and it is being shipped today(Oct 29th) from Germany. With transport time and customs, will take about 2-3 wks before it arrives at my dealer in Philly. I was told in the summer it was a 12-16 wk lead time, but they finished my car at the factory in about 4. They seem to have the system down pretty good now and are putting orders through rather quickly. Dont rush into it, take your time and order it the way you want. I had dealers pushing lot cars on me, but I just started a new job and wanted to wait a few weeks while on order to save a down payment. Esp since your in NY, with the winter coming near, wait til the spring when you can really enjoy it. I know I wont be able to enjoy mine all winter as much as i'd like to so i'm holding onto my other car until March/April. And i know i wont get a real good top down day til it warms back up then too.
