For technicality your car should have VIN #1 for first number USA Built, BUT it was all made in Europe and seems some assembly in USA to get made in USA label. Maybe only body put on in USA. Could be # 2 I do not know what Canada code is but probably same situation.

Only difference in Canada impoted car was Daytime running lites on all the time and Front and Rear Bumpers we higher crash test rating from US and Europe. July 1 2007 all changed to harmonize with USA. was a 2000.00 retrofit Fortunatly I imported after and saved the cost.
