I saw the same ebay offer and sent them a message. It looks like I got the same exact reply. The offer says the car is in California, but it's not, it's in England, at least that's what they say in the email.

I would have travelled to California to check it out in person, but I won't waste a trip to England. $12,000 is a LOT of money to risk, even a trip to England is a lot to risk. The whole offer smells bad. I'm not even going to risk $7.95 on the CarFax report.

Unless one of our forum friends in England could check it out I wouldn't even start.

Titles come from individual States not the federal gov.

If they have your $15,000 Candian, and you don't have a car, what can you do?
