I do have access to a lift sorta, but the access is really restricted and I haven't been able to coax the owner to get their project car out of the garage so I can use it yet. Thanks for even responding cgocifer... I know I've probably pissed off more than a few veterans of forum hah Soarrrrryyyyy everybody.

Brandon, no need to apologize!! I was just kidding with you! This is a pretty small and tight community.
You can definitely do it without a lift, it's just much, much easier. The main point here is that YES, you can do it! It's very rewarding to do it yourself too. Welcome to the forum and don't be afraid to ask questions or double post. It happens.

Good luck with the install! Let us know how it goes.

P.S. I used the service manual which is posted here on the site. I basically removed the top shock bolts and the lower A-arm bolts. Just be careful when lowering the A-arms so that the spring doesn't come flying out. Use a small jack to keep pressure and slowly lower it down. I also used blue Loctite on all the bolts upon re-installation.
