Re: What to do?
Marcelo,
Any pulley you should decide to install, (Crank or SC) will work just fine and provide gains without an ECU tune.
Being the first to install a 185mm pulley - I was overly concerned about running lean - this turned out not to be an issue at all - perhaps its the warmer, sea level temps I live in here at paradise. I've never had an issue, ever...
I know Brisbane is pretty darn close to paridise; I've spent some time OZ land. Rented a Piper Arrow out of Redcliffe Aerodrome and flew the Gold Coast for weeks (can you say Great Kepple Island? Surfers? Port Douglas? Wow - I need to check my logbook for the other cities..) (I even flew out to Dubbo)
An ECU tune just maximizes the performance.
There must be a MB tuner in OZ - if not - have a chip socket soldered to your ECU (any decent electronic assembly house can do it, then have someone (perhaps the same house) with an EPROM reader, read and save your factory ECU parameters to a file. - I bet if you emailed that file to LET - they could flash you a new chip with tune and mail you the chip, then you could just swap chips when it arrives.
Just an idea.
