Zukie, my question is the type of roads that you are on when this happens. Gravel, paved, paved with loose gravel, wet, dry, ice covered etc. Your traction control is effected by even the "slightest" bit of wheel spin and will put you into "limp" mode in the blink of an eye.
I believe some Crossfires TC's are more sensitive than others, and my 04, 6 spd. was extremely sensitive. On at least 3 different occasions in 3 years it almost got me "t-boned" when I was trying to pull out in front of on coming traffic. Even though I had plenty of time to complete the manuver safetly, just because the rear tires spun ever so slightly I was left adrift among converging traffic. Not a good feeling.
I finally said enough, and disconected the TC, and it's never interfered with any of my driving since.
I'm not advocating that anybody else should do what I did, but I've owned nearly 100 cars and never had it on any other car, and I feel safe with out it on my Crossfire. It should be understood, my Crossfire is usually only driven on flat dry paved roads, during the spring summer and fall, and only in the rain when it's caught out in it by accident.
