id you ever figure out why there are 2 brown wires? Using my multimeter, they are joined, so it appears that you could use either 1 or both. Maybe they gave us 2 in case we wanted to have them switched on via 2 sources (door pin circuit & another switch/circuit)???
I just finished installing mine.
2 Tips:
1) The speaker grills have a top and bottom. The top has fewer attaching flanges. Get them updside down and you'll crack them. Check it out right after you remove them.
2) The wire coloring behind the passenger seat under the carpet for the interior lights =
Brown/Grey = Passenger Door Button
Brown/Pink = Driver Door Button
Black/Yellow W/white hash marks = Power
