They were still as thick as new after 20,000 miles and the rotors where perfectly smooth and showing no wear! I am using Posi-Qiet Ceramic pads which are made by Centric. They don't dust my wheels at all either and for the price of just Rotex fronts you can do all four in Ceramic Posi-Quiet pads. If you want a great pad you really should give them a try. The onlly down side I have ever had is after a wash and getting water on the cold rotors. When I back the car out of the drive way you may get a loud squeal until the rotor is clean and dry. This has only happened about five times in 1.5 years. I will never use another pad. I know the guys on here love Rotex gold but if you check the Mercedes foruns you will see they heavily favor Ceramic pads for low dust great stopping and being easy on the rotors. With these pads you may never have to worry about another brake job for many years. I bought mine on Ebay.
