Thumbs up Finally, 168 MPH!!!!!

Remember when I hit the speed limiter at about 155 MPH a couple of months ago?, well since then my car has more mileage, a Powerchip Gold 93 ECU upgrade and a custom 2.5" exhaust w/magnaflow muffler.

The guys at Powerchip told me the speed limiter would be a thing of the past and today I was finally able to verify that. I was driving on the same highway I did 155 MPH before, conditions were great, very few cars, not very hot and great visibility.

It took a long while to get there but the car managed to hit the 6,100 RPM rev limiter in 5th gear (Autostick) in a slight downhill, the speedo reads to 260 km/hr and the needle was past that so I had to calculate the speed and it comes to 168.4 MPH or 270.93 km/hr, not bad for a GT car.

Along the way I left behind all kinds of cars but worth mentioning are a Z4 3.0 on a straight line and a Renault Megane II Sport on the twisties.
