Hi-Performance Oil catch can kit for the crossfire
After doing a flash mod and adding larger injectors plus the CA induction and a sprint booster I have noticed what appears to be a black powder like residue on the inside of the tail pipe. Have to clean it every couple of days.
My Limited runs very strong but seems to use up more gas then before the change was made.
I am wondering if it has anything to do with the intake manifold and to much oil getting through leaving the deposit. Has anyone added a catch can between the PCV valve and the air intake manifold or between the cylinder head cover and the air intake on a crossfire.
I know these are used on hi performance imports with a turbo and they work quite well.
There are several catch can kits on the market for the crossfire. One that I am interested in is a Needswings Crossfire oil catch can kit. They have it installed on their hi-performance SRT-6. Has anyone installed this kit or any other, and how hard was it to install. Also did it help.
