Thanks! That may just do it, but it doesn't work exactly like I had in mind since it has only one speed setting. The GX1 model with the switch is cool. With this, when you hit whatever speed you set, the spoiler would come up, then go down as soon as you fell below that speed, unlike our Crossfires which go up once you hit the speed, but stay up until you hit a lower speed.

In order to get the same action as the crossfire, I did find this gadget for truck tailgates called a jsc droptail.

It opens the tailgate partially at 55 and closes it at 25, and needs the signal from the VSS wire which I won't have on my older Vette. However, a combination of this unit with a different actuator (have to call and see if they would sell me just the electronics) and the Pioneer unit mentioned above that generates a vss signal.. would be the ticket. It looks like quite a number of different manufacturers make these..

So, to really make this work and look as I have envisioned, I would need the spoiler mechanism from a fallen Crossfire, the speed pulse generator and the electronics from the droptail unit.
