Re: Hi-Performance Oil catch can kit for the crossfire
Glock,
I have the Needswings oil catch can installed on my ’08 Roadster. I have only had it installed for a couple of weeks but it works and looks great. First let me say that this product looks like it came from the factory. The fit and finish on this gets an A+. The design was well thought out and the engineering and R&D (thanks Needswings & Waldig) is excellent.
I installed the catch can the first afternoon we had a70 degree day here in the land of two seasons and everything went very smooth. I did have a couple of questions when I did the install so I called Rob at Needswings. Rob was fantastic; he took the time to talk to me on the phone and even searched through his photo archives and sent me pictures to help answer my questions (excellent customer service)
.
Aside from the time it took for Rob to get me on the right track the installation can be done in less than an hour even if you are taking your time. Needswings provides a fairly concise set of instructions but they are geared towards the SRT 6 and not the NA (this difference is what generated my questions).
I will be posting DIY instructions for the NA install in the next couple of days. I have been meaning to do this since I did the install but work keeps getting in my way
but your post is reminding me to complete this and put it out there for other NA owners.
I highly recommend this product; first rate engineering, fit, finish and customer support. Most importantly I believe my engine will benefit from this for years to come. Get one you won’t regret it.
Stay safe…
Respectfully,
Paul (MisterTaz)
