Andy, it starts as I begin to rev the engine and is worse if accelerate harder. You can hear the ceramic "bits" rattling. I have heard that the middle cats aren't strictly required and can be bypassed with a modified exhaust, and it did pass the MOT with it not working ! If it was my own money I would be looking around e-bay etc.
