I guess you never saw the Road and Track feature "Hot Sixes" with a Boxster S, 350Z S-Tune, and Crossfire SRT6. The SRT6 was nearly 4 seconds a lap faster at Willow Springs than the Boxster S.

By the way...I'm not slamming Boxsters (and Caymans). They are great cars and I seriously considered buying one. I still own a Honda S2000, so I certainly appreciate lightweight, agile cars.
