I contacted Chrysler about the $%^&* nav in my Jeep Commander Overland. They said to talk to NAVTEQ. I got in touch with them (basically the user interface and features bite) and they told me to talk to the Manufacturer of the head unit (OEM unit made by AudioVox). What a circle jerk.
It's all rubbish. I will never buy another OEM navigation unit. Overpriced and under performs.

in an area where turn by turn navigation cannot be provided" because the road has "
not been verified". D@mn lawyers... My Garmin will give me turn-by-turn directions to a flaming, gaping black hole directly to he|| - if I choose to drive into it, it's on me! The price of freedom is vigilance...
