My Wife and I took a little road trip today on the East End of LI. it was a beautiful day, not to windy and 63 degrees the top was dropped of course. As we were coming around a curve on Wm. Floyd Pkwy, I spot a Black XFire Coupe on my left stopped at the light. We pull up beside the Coupe a woman is behind the wheel, my wife and I smiled and said hello to her and.......she looked at us turned her head and took off.

I tried to catch up to her, at about 90 my wife smacked me in back of the head to slow down. She had to be pushing at least 100-110, fortunately the only cars that were on the road for 8 miles ahead were ours. Finally caught up to her at the end of the Pkwy, she went left and ate the light and I went right (didn't eat the light). I am starting to really wonder about people, just thought it would be polite to say hello. I have now only seen 4 Xfires in my general area, an Alabaster Coupe that blew past me as if he had just pulled a bank job....a Blaze Red Coupe that totally ignored my presence and a fine gentle that I met at a local car show who is the proud owner of a Blaze Red Coupe. I don't want anyone to think I am demanding people acknowledge my presence, but I just don't get it. Here you have 2 somewhat rare cars side by side, the same color head to head.....the almost perfect Xfire/Kodak moment.
