Anyway this is the closet our painter could get and it took him 2 tries, the color, depth and texture is there but the luminosity inst there in the flat.

Johnny Angel.... my mistake. I was referring to the console paint. Not the panels. Sorry about the confusion! But as for the silver panels.... I bet you are right and that is real tuff to match! Speaking of the panels, if you have a good technique to cleaning them without harming the console, let me know.
