Black, especially glossy black, is the toughest color to touch up. I'd go with the touch-up paint and try not to look at it closely. Otherwise have the body shop do it right. I was lightly rear-ended three years ago in my roadster, and got a couple scuffs and scratches. I had it repainted by the dealer - yes, the dealer - and it turned out perfect.
Alternately, buy a nice German EU sticker and put it over the scratch.
