I didnt look super close to what the muffler guy was doing, but while the ansa tips looked fatter, the actual pipe inside them are about the same size or pretty close to the stock ones so I'm thinking he shaved the ansa ones off and welded the stock ones on.

I can take a picture hopefully this weekend, theres thunderstorms for the rest of the week here and I dont have a garage.
