I am curious to see if the dye comes off on your hands after driving a while. Did you consider getting a quality steering wheel cover. I put a 2-tone red/back "wheelskins" cover on mine, and matched it with a black leather w/ red stiched "MOMO" shift ****, they really set off the interior of the cedar/slate interior
