I've probably had the most issues with overtemping and having the supercharger shutting down.
  • In a nutshell I first replaced the stock pump with the Johnson, no difference.
  • Drained the cooling system and flushed the HE, no difference.
  • Woody suggested that I relocate the HE higher up into the air stream, finally a difference.
  • Since then I have been running stacked pulleys and when things started warming up my overtemp issues returned.
  • Copied Woody's Super Cooler and separated the cooling systems, NO PROBLEMS AT ALL!
I'm all about keeping cool! I HATE when the supercharger shuts off!
