Driverside mounting is a bit tricking...I just tywrapped mine under the headlight through to 2 holes on frame. Tight as a garden hose doo!
I agree the higher the Kelvin the less light output you get... So if color is what you want go high...but 6k is a happy medium....I like the clean white with a hint of blue.
