(first time on the website) - re: cargo covers, yes it's keeping your stuff from prying eyes that is the issue. I went to a local fabric store and got some black canvas-like material - I think it's called "duck" cloth - for about $10, cut it to (over) size, and just throw it over any stuff in the back. look in the rear window and you can't see a thing down there - and no installation, no heavy metal pieces, etc. of course, this may not be to everyone's taste, but I think it works great.
