I will go for 17" front & rear. But the rear tires have to be bigger. 17" because it's no problem to find all different brands & sizes of wintertires. And most important you have to have the same outer diameter like the original tires. Can't give you the exact size because I'm still waiting for my xfire to arrive.
The calculations to achief the same size as the original tire is a matter I leave to the tire center!
