I have pathologically checked my gas mileage on almost every tankful of every car I've owned for the last 30 years....(same brand of calculator watch & resetting the trip meters & filling up almost to overflow)....while at the same time hitting almost 100 mph at least once per day......? Maybe I'm bipolar????

I use BP premium (92) from a station that the owner tells me has no ETOH in it.

I typically get 23.7-25.4 mpg from the 07 6 speed.......I did get over 26 mpg on one tankful when I consciously tried to drive nicely. The worst tank (=the most fun) was like 22.5 mpg.


On my wife's 08 automatic .....(<2000 miles on odometer)....best was 25.5....worst was 22.1.

Over the course of a full year I'd say these 2 cars both ave 24 mpg.

I'm considering hypnosis or psychiatry to make me stop measuring mpg....so that I can just enjoy the speed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
