Here's a link to a write-up I found about exhaust drone. The Magnaflow 16633 has two straight thru mufflers. Apparently, the factory muffler has turns and baffles, etc. to quiet the sound? I am not sure how the Ansa is configured? My guess is that since all of these exhausts are approximately the same length, they all would 'drone' in approximately the same RPM range. You just don't hear it as much with the less noisy mufflers. I don’t feel that the little bit of drone (if that’s what it is?) with the Magnaflow is all that bad. It is just a noisier muffler over all. When listening to sound videos, it seems to me that the Ansa isn’t as loud overall as the Magnaflow, but I haven’t been able to compare in person.
