Default Re: Possibly going to buy a Crossfire...

HonestFool03

First, Welcome to the forum. Second there are some reliable mods that can be done to the NA Crossfire. For these check TVT, NeedsWings and EuroCharged. Currently there are no commercially supported forced induction products specific to the NA Crossfire that I am aware of.

Faiz23 is very fond of posting about "vapor ware" products or projects that others say they have done. While I absolutely support his enthusiasm I don't really think he is giving you an answer to your inquiry about any commercially available "reliable" products. There are however a couple of forum member projects that have been attempted and taken to some level of completeness (do a search for ChuckNorris). You will find that cracking the ECU in these cars is a lot more difficult than some folks think. If it weren't there would be FI conversions all over this forum.

The snippet Faiz23 posted was taken from LantanaTX V8 engine swap project thread. In the last couple of weeks another new member from France has posted about some of his past project results. Again, some promising claims but not proven or commercially available.

If you want reliable forced induction that can be bought your best bet is to look for a SRT 6 or wait until one of our very fine supporting vendors develops one. On the other hand you may be into doing a development project on your own. Possibly you could team up with Faiz23, I am anxiously awaiting the FI conversion on his Crossfire.

For what it is worth that is just my two cents. TVT, NeedsWings and EuroCharged should have something to wet your Horse Power appetite although not forced induction, at least not yet.

Good luck and stay safe...

Respectfully,

Paul (MisterTaz)
