I have a long brush that gets the backs of the wheels as well. I wash them 1st when I wash my car. I use Meguiars Gold Shampoo, same as I use on my car. As for detailing purposes I use Zaino Z-2 every month on them when I polish the rest of the car, I use Stoners on my tires. Of all the tire dressings I've used its the best. You can make it shine or dull it out. I use a foam applicator so the spray doesn't get on my wheels. Once a year I removed the wheel and tire and give the wheel a thorough cleaning front and back. I also paint my brake calipers and wheel wells at the same time.
