I always thought it to be common knowledge to NOT beat up your car and go WOT until it has warmed up. I never even go into boost until my cars temp is at least 160*........or 1/3 mark on the gauge. Once it hits that temp. though all hell breaks loose and the right pedal sees the floor quite often.


Sucks that the motor was blown though. Did you do a compression test on it? I recently did one on my 6 while hunting down my "lack of boost" issue and all cylinders were at 140-150psi. I didn't bother doing a leak down test
