I am so very sorry for your loss. You cannot imagine how deeply this thread has touched me. I lost my mother 20 years ago this May. When I find myself missing her, I think about one of the many happy times she and I shared. I am myself closing in on 60 years and dealt with ovarian cancer 9 years ago. I have a son who is not much older than yourself. We are very close and I felt in your post the pain he would feel at my passing. I am fortunate to have the opportunity to share more of those "happy times" with him and his family. I can tell you from my heart that your mother would be very proud of you. I know that I would be, and I am. Life is too short, and too precious. God bless you.
