Talking Re: Does your supercooler heat exchanger make your a/c not get as cold?

The question comes from the fact that the radiator I chose for the design is a big as the radiator and sits infront of the radiator. This would obscure the radiator VISUALLY and add to the heat up stream of the radiator / A/C core.

I have used it the longest and with the mod to the grill and Tstat ( 180 degree stat core - not holes in a stocker), in the summers here in the northern Va area, its cooler on the gauge, below 1/2 scale.

I cant say for this year as the heat will not hit till Saturday and my hood is venting heat like a *****. Testing of the hood is due after I finish checking the 185 pulley out and getting a follow up Dyno in a week or so.

There is a gap all way round the supercooler and the radiator and they are separated by about 3/4th of an inch to allow leveling of the airflow - to avoid dead spots /interference zones.

Enjoy, Woody
