Good luck with that 30+ MPG stuff. I have K&Ns and a magnaflow exhaust (breathes better in and out) and I do not get 30+ MPG ever... and in the city, if you drive with a lead foot, expect somewhere in the 17 range realistically. Not trying to be a buzz kill, but I can expect a 16 year old with a 6 spd XF to get $hitty MPGs
I did a 380 mile round trip recently on less than a tank and averaged 36mpg (imperial), which if my conversion is correct (1 US Gallon = 0.833 Imperial Gallon) is 30 US mpg. I was really shocked I have to be honest. I didn't drive especially efficiently to save fuel. I used cruise control when the road was clear enough to. And we stopped a few times each way. That's not bad for a car like this, fully loaded with luggage and a passenger.
