I am looking into doing some mods again. I now have about $600 saved up. I was going to buy a 7" popup DVD player/receiver, but they are too damned expensive to get one that works with the iPhone.
What would you recommend for someone that had $600 to spend?
BTW: I just can't stomach spending $500 to have someone plug my chip into a computer and run a program to flash it. Surely, you could do this piece for less for your good ole buddies on the site.
Why is this so much anyway? There do not seem to be any parts or labor involved. Am I missing a key part of this process?
