Talking Engine baseline of 178/dual cai/fuel regulator part two.

In my evaluation of the 185 pulley from eurocharged, I can say that autocrossing this last weekend was a hoot.

I had down low power that I could not even fully use at the Summit point skid pads. The throttle was way more responsive and I used second gear with all the go that I could want. Tires were my limitation in this event.

Now for the straight line buddies. I had told Jake that I hit 23 PSIG, but on a 55 degree day when I had a chance to go in third I was at 24 PSIG about 4500-5000. THis is with my pillar boost gauge which has been dead nutz on with the zeitronix data logger when reading 20 PSIG with the 178.

Seems that the supercharger likes the higher rpm and the reduced inlet restriction my dual filter/dual inlet CAI setup.
I reiteriate that my boost is measured in the manifold and not BEFORE it at the wye pipe. 24 is a tall number and my fuel regulator was holding its own for my F/A gauge was indicating around 13. I dont feel confident with that pillar gauge is as good as the Zeitronix, at least it is not as responsive.

Ill be on a dyno next week and report the power results after that. So far the butt o meter likes it and the response is crisp. My motor likes it and no problems are noted.
Woopie, this is good. WOODY
