I chose Falken FK-452's for the reasons you spec'ed. It is a directional tire, but that doesn't bother me. Sears is a Falken distributer and if one is close, they can have it in no more than 48 hours.

It is NOT my daily driver, but I really like 2 things:

Handling is just great

The ride is almost sedan-like. These were designed for sport luxury sedans and coupes.
