The additional S/C rpm impressed me bigtime cause I would not have expected a 4 PSIG gain, which is 20% over the 178. The 185 is 4% bigger than the 178 I was running, go figure. When I was testing stacked pulleys, I was hitting 25 PSIG before the engine shutdown due to severe missing, and never attempted further testing, never got to 5000 rpm! Documentation will follow to compare boost to boost on the same dyno.

If you have a data logger, it would be interesting to see your boost versus rpm. I will be getting thoes charts ready on the next dyno run and we can compare STOCK S/C versus your Cleaned up S/C. There is more boost in there than most of us would have believed.

Woody, running into the weekend and another autocross at Summit point......................WEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeee
I don't know much about boost, but it seems like 24 is incredibly high compared to any other car I've read about. People with other S/C cars are talking about 4psi max boost, 7psi being high, and anything over 10 to be silly in some cases.

Is boost based on the specific engine, and not a relative number across other engines? What I mean by that is does the boost amount not really matter, and it's just about the specific range for each engine? A 4psi on one engine could be dangerous, but a 17 on another wouldn't be??????

Not sure if my question makes sense.
