This is a shame. I loved my 2000 Trans Am.

GM just didn't seem to realize how to make Pontiacs exciting and affordable. When the new GTO came out I tried to buy one from the same place that I bought my Trans Am. They wouldn't move an inch on price. Went to 2 other local dealers...same exact thing. The car I initially tried to buy sat on their lot for over 4 months before it sold. When they upped the power and added the hood scoops 2 years later I went to check them out again. Still, not an inch on the price. If that car was 5k less it would have sold like mad. Instead, it continued to get flogged by the cheaper Mustang, just like the Firebird before it.

Pontiac had a good run and will certainly be missed.
