Default Chrysler Extended Warranty . . .

Hiya all, just wanted to get some input on whether or not I should pay the $$$$ for extended warranty on my Crossfire coupe. It is 2004, with in service date of Sept. 2006, so I have warranty until Sept. 2009 (this year). . . . I only have 16k km on it (10k miles) . . . so far have not had hardly any of the troubles I have seen crop up on the forum . . . HOWEVER, noting these issues and the costs associated with them, I was wondering what everyone thinks about paying the $$$$ for the Chrysler Extended warranty. . . . I think they mentioned something like $2.4k(Canadian) for another 4 year bumper to bumper coverage. . . .I am fussy enough that I would fix things myself, however even parts cost is getting up there !!

Of course then there is the other issue of whether or not Chrysler will exist to honor the warranty !! . . . . I could keep the $2.4k in the bank until it is needed for whatever repair . . . . but, just not sure what to do . . . your comments are appreciated . . . . .

Thanks,

Mark
