Cheap Way Out
- buy FM Transmitter 1 (no good)
- buy "wired" FM modulator for FM Transmitter 1 (Still no good)
- spend hours researching a fix that does not involve replacing head unit (STILL no good)
- dollars spent with no result: $200
- buy new head unit with 3.5mm jack or iPod/Zune compatibility built-in
- total dollars spent - $400
Cheaper Way Out
- buy new head unit with 3.5mm jack or iPod/Zune compatibility built-in
- dollars spent/problem solved: starting at about $200
Don't waste your time and money on junk that's not going to solve the problem. Replace the head unit and save the old one for when you sell the car.
