You reminded me of something awesome...
So the story behind the airfare ticket is...
I bought a toundtrip ticket to St.Louis from O'Hare yesterday (4.24) for $213.40 which is a fantastic deal in the first place...
I figured if I didn't use the return trip I could get a credit for it and be able to use it for a later trip..
Well, of course, things worked out and I didn't need the return trip...
As I get close to Chicago I get an email on my Blackberry "your flight has been cancelled" which I assume was because of the crappy weather in Chicago. So I called up United, and wanted to inquire about the credits....
Instead, because my flight was cancelled they offered to refund the value of the return leg to my account... So what did she come back and tell me she was refunding me... $140.xx. Hahahahaha.
So in the end, it cost me roughly $70 to fly down to St.Louis this morning...
Amazing.
The $140 I never thought I'd get back... and almost pays for the cost of a Johnson IC pump I need to instal ASAP. Heck yeah.
