Note that the muffler has dual inlets (we have a single inlet) and the length of the tailpipes dictates the placement of the muffler much, much farther forward than our setup with the muffler at the rear. My previous post wasn't intended to confirm that this system was definitely Xfire but a similar design could be available for the Xfire. There is no reason why this design would not work. You cut the factory journal off (where two pipes join together just behind converters and they slip into dual pipes in muffler. From there back you have complete dual exhaust with stainless tips. The only question I see is the weight of the muffler at the mid-section of car and designing a hangar support at that point.
Otherwise, this exhaust design is definitely feasible.
