Yeah, I know, there was the sebring convertible, which was just a re-badged mitsusushi gallant. They resurected the charger as a 4-door that you still can't get with a manual transmission, great car otherwise, but I still would not buy one. There is no such thing as a 4-door sports car(charger, SRT-4 neon, and SRT-4 hyundai-mitsu caliber). Also don't forget that most of the line-up was also running four cylinder hyundai engines starting in the 2006 model year (in mitsu bodies ) Yes, I am a die hard mopar guy, but the "transportation appliances" that Chrysler has been cranking out for 10+ years are more at home in a rental car lot than in most people's driveways. This, and this alone is the reason they are in the dire straights they are in, and myself and thousands of others have not bought a new Chrysler product since the mid 1990s.
The only car they make now that I would really want to own is the challenger. 2 doors, 6-speed, choice of 2 different V-8s. They must not want to sell these really bad though, you can get the employee pricing and all the other incentives on every other piece of crap on the lot, not the challenger. Wake up Chrysler, not everybody wants a 4-door sedan with automatic transmission! Or, God forbid, a minivan. Guess I'll be driving the crossfire a little while longer.
