I know, I'm crazy.
But there was a Crossfire to drive on the other end so it was, in the end, OK.
Truck ran like cr*p. Something in the engine managment system. Chugged up some of them long Pennsylvania Hills at 35 MPH. Awful. Computer would fault, engine power would whane. Only way to get it back was to shut down the engine and restart. Hard to do with a long train of angry 18 wheelers on your @ss. So I chugged up at 35 MPH and took the sympathetic but annoyed stares as they struggled their big rigs passed me. Did the restart on the way down the other side and hoped for the best.
I saw only four Crossfires on the whole trip. All four were in Indiana between Spiceland and Indianapolis. All were Black. three were coupes and one was a Roadster SRT. All where heading west last Thursday.
Picked up my XFire wheels from Anthony(great guy BTW) at TVT Friday and Horse traded for several tons of rock on Saturday. Followed Cathy's SRT home Monday and Tuesday.
There ain't a whole lot o' things more pleasant than following a pretty girl driving a really cool car. Even for 1,150 Miles. Even if your sittin' in a cranky old Dodge. Even if all you got to offer, when you get her home, is a pile of worthless old rocks.

Franc,
Did you by chance see one of those black coupes with some big chrome rims on it?? I live in Indy and was around that way yesterday, could have been me
Next time you head through Indy, let me know, especially if you are in the XF and not a full size truck LOL
