UPDATE:
I received a call from the Car Sense service manager yesterday. The Chrysler dealer diagnosed the problem as a failure in th e IC Pump and is also ordering the bottom heating element for the drivers side seat (the other problem I reported to them). It should be ready by tomorrow afternoon, possibly by this afternoon.
Big sigh of relief on my end. I was worried that they were going to have trouble diagnosing this one, resulting in a lot of back and forth. Seems there are competent service departments out there after all
