That's not to say you didn't have an inferior pair. In fact I had 4 very expensive BBS wheels for my M3. Two of them were bad. It happens. Best to quote you. "When it goes good the process works, but when it doesn't it becomes painfully expensive and time consuming to correct. Good luck with whatever you decide." I agree.
