yeah, as I said, it's either a you like it or you don't. Personally I really don't like the carbon fibre look at all. I think the brushed alum would have looked ok, but I wasn't crazy about how that would look on the silver paint we have. As far as the wood on the glove box, I started it off just doing the radio stack and the console, but then the glove box area looked cheap and unfinished, so I just said the heck with it and finished it off. I like the color of the wood and the black, and the silver edges to me fit right in, the shift know I specifically left until I see rosewood and black leather. anyway, I think it came out fine, reduces the overly industrial look of the plastic and paint, and I'm happy with it all in all. But whether anyone else likes it or not, I do think I did a good job of centering it and getting it all to lay flat.

ooooooo-a vinyl top! Cool. Gotta get some of that fringe stuff, maybe day-glo orange fro the back window!!!!! Haven't seen that sh*t since 1978.
